Beautiful fall day, windows down, music playing at an audible-with-windows-down level and faded front (so it’s quieter through the back speakers).

Little Boy (from car seat in the way-back): TURN IT DOWN!!!! IT’S TOO LOUD!!!

Me: Ignore him since he’s being disrespectful and demanding, sing along.

Little Boy (from car seat in the way-back): TURN IT DOWN!!!! IT’S TOO LOUD!!!

Me: Continue to ignore him and continue to sing along.

Shampoo, rinse, repeat all the way to school.

Me: (ignore him since he’s being disrespectful and demanding)
